$38,000 For Sweet F.A.

That's the damage from Wiji Khan's first Mid-East Trip back in September of 2006. And for that princely sum, the Canadian taxpayer apparently got a report written on transparent paper in invisible ink.

Although Wiji did manage to uncover the startling truth that torture is a "fact of life over there", which I could have done via a google search for the price of a couple of TTC tokens and a bowl of soup.

Whoop-de-f'ing-do.

38 grand.

Let us know when he can spend a quarter of a million a day, every day, for eight years without leaving a paper trail for the Auditor General. And have zilch to show for it.

*sigh* I guess variations of "ADSCAM!!1" are all we're ever going to get from the anonymous clods.

Uh, anony-clod? Wijid's pefidy is a matter of official record, which the government has to address.

Or don't you care about accountability?

No, there's the human resources debacle, the gun registry fiasco, the flag giveaways, the slush fund fiasco, the cancelling of the helicopter contract disgrace, the no helicopter contract disgrace, the list just doesn't end ti-guy, it gets longer, the patronage appointments, the untender contracts, the cash in envelopes, . . .
