Keystone Delayed!!!

...until after the November U.S. mid-terms.  So probably into 2015!  Although I don't see this as much of a Cdn election issue.  It doesn't really matter what your position is on a decision that's up to the yanks to make.  Which is why I am willing to cut Justin Trudeau some slack on this issue.  What's far more important is where he ends up on the Trans Mountain line.

... and where do you want to see the TransMountain decision go?

Transmountain isn't really super controversial is it? I live in BC: what seem more controversial are the issues of coal mining in B.C. and export through Vancouver, Northern Gateway, and future LNG.

Transmountain ought to be up to the folks in BC. If Kinder Morgan can satisfy the interested parties, then that's their decision. Certainly, KM haven't acted nearly the assholes Enbridge has.

Personally though I'd like to see it stopped.

The Transmountain is essentially an expansion of an existing pipeline. I doubt it will generate that much controversy.

I doubt very much that it will encounter that much resistance - certainly not compared to Northern Gateway or Keystone XL.
